It was another wonderful summer of great shows at county fairs, private events, and Wednesday nights at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria!  Along the way I managed to catch a few lunkers, attend my niece's wedding in LA (with my daughter Carmella...now THAT'S quality time!), and dive headlong into a new hobby, cycling.

The kids are now in the 10th and 7th grades.  Carmella plays the flute in the concert band and is in her 4th production in the Blaine H.S. Theatre Department...it seems that theatre is really her "thing"!  Cole grew 5 inches since January and is all teenager.  He's a skateboarding, BMX biking, guitar playing kid who had as much fun in one summer as a kid can have.  My wife Michelle said goodbye to her job at Horton after 7 years and has taken the job of Director of Marketing for the Hazelden Foundation.  She is thrilled to back in health care again.
